# Siena Society

> Siena is a social dining club in London for making friends. Every Thursday at 7:30pm it seats small groups of strangers, usually six people, at a London restaurant it chooses. A seat costs £9.99; each guest pays the restaurant for their own food and drinks. Siena is for making friends. Every table is a group, never a pair.

- When: every Thursday at 7:30pm, London time. Dinners last about two hours.
- Table: a small group, usually about 6 people. Every table is a group, never a pair.
- Seat price: £9.99 per seat. It pays for the matching, the table booking and support. No subscription or membership is needed: guests book one Thursday at a time.
- Food and drinks: each guest orders and pays for their own food and drinks at the restaurant. They are not included in the seat price.
- Siena Premium (optional, for regular guests): £13.99 for 1 month, £32.99 for 3 months, £44.99 for 6 months. Premium includes a seat at every Thursday dinner. Food and drinks are still paid at the restaurant. Premium renews automatically until it is cancelled.
- Matching: guests answer nine short questions at sign-up (name, languages, birth year, gender, what they are looking for, introvert or extrovert, work industry, topics they like to talk about, what they bring to a table). Siena groups people of a similar age, balances each table, mixes introverts and extroverts, and seats people who share interests. Guests are never seated again with someone from one of their past Siena tables.
- Booking: at https://sienasociety.com/signup. Booking for a Thursday closes on the Tuesday before at 23:59.
- Reveal: on Wednesday, Siena emails the restaurant name and address and the first names of the people at the table.
- Cancellation: full refund of the seat when cancelled at least 24 hours before the dinner.
- First dinner promise: if a guest's first dinner is not for them, Siena refunds the seat they paid for by card. They ask by 23:59 on the Saturday after the dinner, in one tap from the morning-after email or the app.
- Table too small: if too few people book for a table, the seat moves to the next Thursday, or the guest can ask for a full refund.
