A small group sharing plates at a restaurant table

We run Siena, a dinner with strangers in London every Thursday, so we compete with some of the services we review. We say where each one does better than us. Every fact about Savour Societies below comes from its own website or store listing, checked on the date shown and linked in the sources. If something has changed, tell us at hi@sienasociety.com and we will fix it.

Savour Societies and Siena both put strangers at a restaurant table. The difference is who chooses the table. At Savour Societies you pick a theme. At Siena we match the group for you.

How Savour Societies works

  1. Browse tables. Each table has a theme, a date, a restaurant and an age range. Some tables are about a topic, some about a cuisine, some about a mood.
  2. Book a seat. You pay for the seat online. A table goes ahead once four guests have booked.
  3. Go to dinner. You meet four to eight people who picked the same table, order from the menu and pay for your own food.

You can also suggest a table idea. The site gives a WhatsApp number for that.
